Straight out of St. Martin’s School of Art in the mid-’90s, he took the often fruitless step of pitching himself to All Saints Records, and was surprised when the founder Dominic Norman-Taylor called him in and then promptly gave him work. One of the main motivations was the hope of working with Eno — which has subsequently borne plenty of fruit. Thursday lunchtime as a junior designer, I was always sitting in the library mezzanine of Enterprise IG, reading the latest issue of Design Week. A ritual I always looked forward to. Keep it inspiring, showcasing creativity at its best, be it branding or UX. Avoid clickbait headlines and the ‘best XYZ of 2024’ (yawn)..! Great writing and comment from those who understand the industry. I want the digital version of my Thursday lunchtime.

In reply to Martin Cartwright. It's never too late! Thank you for adding your voice. We've been talking about in-house designers and already trying to talk to some of the teams about this. We intend to do a lot more of this, and you can help us by letting us know of interesting projects and proposing stories about your craft, workflows and problems which we can follow up on!

I would love to see Design as a business success methodology emphasised. Design beyond visuals or products, so service design, business model design systems design – all with a focus on deep exploring of problems, UX and iterative prototyping. Design as the key ingredient in an entrepreneurial mindset – what ever the sector.

I was privileged to work at The Design Council in the late 70s and be in meetings with Kenneth Grange chairing
I also didn’t fully appreciate his support and the opportunities he facilitated,at the time

Olympic logo should be understood easily and when it is happening in the most advanced city this time. Eyefell tower could had been no alternative. Even the Marianne could have depicted in a sportive way. I Think Olympic committee must take some communication advancement to convey the highest inner meaning of this creation. A logo and the Muscat says manything about a country it's cultural heritage, it's success in the world arena . Anyway when a logo has reached its destination it is the success of its creator. I wish Paris and it's people for a successful Olympic. I also wish International Olympic Committee for the success of the Paris Games
