Scottish family history service to be overhauled

Westminster Council to use service design to tackle local issues

National Maritime Museum to overhaul website

The museum says it wants to create a new website that will be “a high-impact compelling experience that will inspire people to visit, drive income-generation and deepen audience engagement with our specialist themes: the sea and ships, astronomy and time and visual arts.” It is looking to commission a design and development consultancy specialising in Drupal to work on the project.

Royal Mint seeks exhibition designers as visitor centre plans take shape

The Royal Mint says the new visitor centre in Llantrisant, near Cardiff, will allow people to look behind the scenes of the organisation “for the first time in its 1000-year history”. Visitors will be able to take a tour of the Royal Mint manufacturing and will also be able to visit a range of static and interactive exhibitions, for which designers are currently being sought.
