Came to say the same as the previous posters. The first interaction many people have aged 11-16 with technicians will be with their school’s science & DT technicians. It would be lovely if this aspect was mentioned, their roles explained and some appreciation shown for the vital contribution to science for young people. Thank you.

I’d like to echo the other 2 comments, without school/college/university science/design and technology/art technicians preparing everything for those aged 11 and beyond there would be no ‘technicians of the future’ …

I really hope this exhibition includes school science technicians! After all, for most 11-16 year olds their only experience of a science technician will be the person who ensures that the equipment and chemicals they need for their coursework are ready for the start of each lesson.
